New Beginnings

Well here it goes, my first blog post! I never thought I would do this because I tend to be technologically challenged, but I got inspired with the arrival of my brand spanking new MacBook Pro! It's absolutely amazing and I would recommend it to anyone. I start college on August 26th, and I am ecstatic! Yeah you guessed it, I'M A NERD (haha). I am going to be majoring in English, and the first thing everyone assumes is that I am going to be a teacher. Well, we all know what happens when you assume things... haha! But no, I do not strive and hope to be a teacher. My real goal is to become an author, and be an equivalent to my author role model, J.K. Rowling. She is an absolute creative genius! All her Harry Potter books were/are/will be forever the best books I have ever read. I am currently on the hunt for her book The Casual Vacancy, and that crime novel that she wrote under a pseudonym. I am a lover of books and try to read all the time! My latest book I have tackled is Cloud Atlas. That book is a killer. But I am determined to finish it, and perhaps enrich my intellectual vocabulary as a side dish.
